Description
Wow. So yes, this is a reissue, but it's a reissue made in 1968 of the original 1951 Fender Telecaster Bass. There really aren't enough hours in the day to explain how much fun this bass is to play, it could be one of the most comfortable and forgiving instruments that I have ever held. While this looks like it should be a shoulder breaker, this comes from a time before basses became boat anchors, this can easily be played all night. Original white has faded to yellowed cream and has all the marks and checking that the custom shop could only dream of replicating. When you play a real vintage bass you know exactly why they are so highly prized, this would fit perfectly hanging in a studio or around the neck of a full time gigging musician, just don't let it rot in the case.
