Patina for days on this early 1973 Fender Jazz Bass.
Block inlays, rosewood fingerboard, maple neck.
If guitars could talk this bass would certainly have a story to tell.
The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan, the neck original.
A genuine vintage monster for less than the price of a modern custom shop 'relic'. Comes with the original hardcase.
Tiny crack near the end of fingerboard, and small 'clever' through the veneer board 'design' in the same spot. 1 pot dates to early 1973, the other 2 are '77 and '78.
Obviously this guitar has been played and played. Why? because, yes, it is that good..I don't wanna put it down.
Weighs in at a very nice 3.85kgs...light, resonant, woody sounding, beautiful.
