A gorgeous, played in 1969 Gibson J-50 Jubilee featuring a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fretboard and bridge, 3-a-side Gibson Deluxe tuners with ivoroid buttons, an LR Baggs Element VTC pickup, and a curious feature; a 1968-spec neck (with no volute) even though this model was released in 1969. Most J-50 Jubilee's have the narrower nut width and volute, but this feels and plays like a '68. Condition is good overall with significant playwear to the top, lacquer checking, and part of the headstock pearl inlay missing - this guitar is firmly in the 'player grade' camp. Playability is excellent with plenty of fret life, and a loud, resonant Gibson tone.
Included is a hard shell case, please review all photographs as they form part of the description.
