Description

Get your dark sunglasses on, wear black. Write some catchy songs, very catchy. Hey, who knows, someone might even cover ‘em. This delightful little 12 string is called the ‘Bard’ and, of course, Roy Orbison famously played one of these. Nestled just before Epiphone moved production to Japan, this was made in Gibson’s fabled Kalamazoo factory. With its chimey and pokey tonality, this would be a great recording or stage guitar. There are scuffs here and there, mind you, at half a century old I reckon this ‘Bard’ is in good shape. Action is nice and low, neck is straight. Trapeze tailpiece has been replaced with a reproduction. A cool guitar, from a cool decade and a year when so many great albums came out. Comes with hardshell case and a free of Zig Zag rolling papers, while stocks last. BYO White Rabbit. #061924
