Description
Cheerfully vintage mid 1970s Gibson J-55. Highly idiocyncratic instrument from Gibson with an interesting feature set. Square shouldered with a pressed arched back instrument, full width neck and a very friendly, medium to slim neck profile with 3-piece Mahogany construction. Has that 1970s songwriter 'bark' in spades. Bright and clear with strong note fundamentals. The spruce top has three repaired (but completely stable) top cracks. The celluloid binding surrounding the body has some cracking. Grover tuners. A great sounding mid 70s Gibson dreadnought, this is a very good one! Made in USA. Includes original pasteboard case.
