An extremely rare example of a pre-war Martin guitar. The 1934 Martin C2 archtop features Brazilian back and sides, carved spruce top with a gorgeous original aged sunburst finish, original bar frets, engraved trapezoid tailpiece, 'snowflake' inlays, and Brazilian rosewood bridge. This guitar is absolutely stunning and has a brilliant resonance and harmonic presence not easily found in modern equivalents. This particular guitar comes from the estate of John Hurston, a iconic Australian guitar collector. Also included with this instrument is a great Epiphone branded period case.
