1955 Fender Esquire (Blonde, White Guard, OHSC)

Regular price $32,000.00
A devastatingly original example of a mid-'50s Esquire, this 1955 model features a one-piece ash body finished in classic blonde, a one-ply white pickguard, vintage 'ash tray' bridge with original brass saddles, a lone single coil pickup (flat pole piece), original 3 way switch (with untouched wiring loom), original Kluson split tuners, and original tweed hard shell case with red plush interior. The guitar is in original condition down to the finish, electronics, free from any overspray, repairs or alterations save for some black 'shielding' paint inside the control cavity/pickup cavity. Condition is excellent overal, there is minimal playwear, some minor finishing checking/dints consistent with a well cared for guitar of this vintage. Sonically the guitar is immaculate, with crystal clear high end sparkle that cuts through the muddiest of amps.
Included is the original 1955 tweed hard shell case, please review all photographs as they form part of the description.
