A beautiful '50s Martin 'Style O' Ukulele from 1956 featuring a solid Honduran mahogany top, back, sides and neck, a Brazilian rosewood fretboard, original Waverly tuners with hex head nuts, mahogany bridge with Brazilian rosewood saddle, Ebony nut, and original pasteboard case. Condition is very good overall with some minor finish dings and lacquer checking consistent with an instrument of this age, there is a minor non-structural finish crack on the top that has been checked by our luthier, and the frets have no evidence of wear. Playability is excellent, and the ukulele has full, rich tone and a surprising amount of volume for a soprano. This is by far the nicest sounding ukulele we have come across, these models are becoming increasingly sought after by collectors and players alike.
Included is the original pasteboard case, please review all photographs as they form part of the description.
