A neat Airline branded, Harmony/CMI made 'H54 Rocket'. While virtually identical to the classic Harmony Rocket, the Airline branded variant famously featuring chrome-covered 'Multi-Diamond' pickups - a point of difference. Tonally similar to the 'Goldfoil' pickups made famous by the Harmony marque.
This Airline has seen significant play over the years, the lacquer to the rear of the neck has worn through to the timber and the body exhibits nicks and dings proportionate to its vintage. Playability is good with a medium action however scope for adjustment is fairly limited beyond this point given the nature of a 'catalogue' era instrument. Sounds phenomenal for those who enjoy the 'fight' a relatively inexpensive vintage guitar has.
Made in the USA. Includes an unoriginal (but much sturdier than original) hard case.
