This rare 'Summer of Love' era Stratocaster comes to us as a very complete example. 3-Tone Sunburst finish, non-bullet truss rod headstock, 4-bolt neck, original 'gray bobbin' pickups, original 3-way switch. A nice light, resonant and exceptionally playable instrument weighing in at 3.46kgs. Replaced volume pot (original included). Stunning pro re-fret by Jon Shubb with period size wire. Replaced bone nut, some minor etching to the finish above the nut where some super glue has bonded with the nitrocellulose-finished headstock face. Included are some original tremolo springs, the 'Ashtray' bridge cover and tremolo arm. Original case in great condition with all latches functioning. Made in the USA, serial number 255102.
