A rare bird in its own right... as not many Jazzmasters were being made in the mid 1970s. Factory Ash body. Big old 1970s style headstock logo which looks cool as heck to me. Blocks and binding of course. Factory black pickguard which has seen a fracture near the output jack (now glued and stabilised). Bridge pickup is a '75 dated grey bobbin with the neck being an American Vintage reissue pickup. Neck pickup cavity has a Strat single coil-sized route, nothing too ugly but it's there... (ask us for pics if you need). Was once fitted with Schaller machine heads but these have been removed and 1970's style 'F' tuners are soundly back on. No clear stamp to neck heel. Pots date to both '66 and '73 (Seeing '66 pots through till the early 1970s is fairly common place, CBS order ordered pots in '66) Serial 702132 (Dates to 1975). Weight, 4.5kg. Includes the original case.
