With only 166 made between 1970 and 1976 this Gibson ES-355 is a very cool, rare, and desirable mid-70s Gibson hollowbody! The ES-355 is one of the flagship Gibson guitars, featuring advanced electronics, gorgeous and elaborate aethetic appointments such as the bound custom-style headstock, gold hardware and a maestro tremolo.

Neck Details: Narrow nut width with neck binding, pearloid block inlays, set neck join.
Pickups: Two Patent Number Gibson humbucking pickups.
Electronics: 3-way toggle switch. Volume and tone control for each pickup. Varitone rotary switch. Stereo.
Hardware: Gold plated with gold plated Maestro Tremolo system.
Modifications / Repairs: All original, except bridge saddles have been replaced with Graphtech saddles. Also currently wired to work in mono.
Cosmetic Condition: Overall the instrument is in very good original condition with only a few scratches, areas of light finish grazing and dings. Gold plating on pickups and hardware has tarnished and has worn off in spots. There have been 4 holes drilled in to the Maestro tailpiece at some stage.
Tech Notes: Currently setup with a very nice and easy to play medium/low action. Sounds great!
