A super lightweight (3.14kg), highly resonant 'TL-72' from Fender Japan. This model features a period c1972 aesthetic with neat Blonde finish, Maple neck and 3-ply black plastics. Strong and bitey tonality with plenty of jangle with both pickups engaged. Aesthetically the instrument features its share of bumps and bruises, most of which are confined to the rear of the body and would be considered buckle rash. The neck is a comfortable U shape and is free from any dings to its rear. The face of the instrument seems the ghost of an old sticker whereby the surrounding finish has yellowed off slightly (check photos - a rectangular shape can be seen just above the bass side of the bridge). The rear of the instrument sees a similar treatment with some drawings that have been removed in the past.
Freshly setup and serviced by our in house technician with 10-46 gauge D'Addario strings.
