A nice early Fender Japan build out of the Fuji-Gen Factory. Dates to 1997-2000. Gig ready with some tasteful upgrades. A Staytrem tremolo collar replaces the stock Japanese unit, it is a replacement arm and collet which overcomes the problems normally associated with the Jaguar and Jazzmaster. Eliminates loose and rattling tremolo arm. The arm will not swing down when released and stays at set positions. A buzzstop has also been added to increase the break angle of strings over the bridge.
The instrument has been played and sees some battle scars. Various chips and dings around the body. Buckle worming to rear of the instrument. Two areas of abrasion from steel wool to the body, one patch above the controls on the bass horn and another below the bridge on the treble side. The rear of the neck is however relatively clean. Pickguard has been replaced with a vintage style mint green 3 ply. The instrument includes a quality hardcase.
