An ultra cool mechanical tremolo recognised as the first standalone effects pedal, this particular unit was made c1948 by DeArmond in Ohio and features a mechanical tremolo effect as well as a volume pedal which acts as a speed variator when tremolo is engaged. Famously used by Muddy Waters and Billy Gibbons, these units are exceptionally rare in working order - this particular unit functions perfectly and has had an additional footswitch wired inline to bypass the effect, the original power plug and output jack remain intact and fully functional. For Australian use this pedal requires a step-down transformer (which is included in sale), otherwise it runs on 110v with a USA plus. Also included in sale is the original box!
