c1960s Guyatone EB-1 Bass (Made in Japan, Olympic White)

It's hard not to love these super short-scale vintage bass offerings from Guyatone. The finishes are generally nicely crazed up (like this one) and the formulation of the plastics used on the faux tortoiseshell pickguards have such a depth to them. You've got a single highly microphonic single coil pickup in the neck position and a gorgeous wooden thumb rest. The whole instrument is basically a warm embrace from mum. Like mum, intonation can be a pitchy (particularly after a couple of glasses of bubbly) but you love her just the way she is. To make things even better this charmer comes pre-strung with flat wounds so you don't have to! Made in Japan, Serial number A7105084.
