Maple back and sides, spruce top, electric guitar kinda neck profile right up to the \"heel\" which joins the body at the 12th fret. Has had a neck reset at some stage, given away by visible gluelines, and is therefore in great playing shape and very stable. Maton also used to screw the bridges down from the top on these, and a bass side split has been repaired. Replaced machineheads too, so it'll reach tune and stay there. Cutla battles fought and won and ready for another 50 years. If you want a dependable camping guitar that isn't made of sawdust, this is it. No case or bag, SN 4571 so we reckon early 70s, but hard to say precisely.
