Description
In the early 1980s, punk was on its last legs, and new wave was storming up the charts. Some kids still wanted to rock, not in a nihilistic punk way, and not in a haircut new wave way…These kids longed for wild long hair, makeup, Corvettes and non sensical lyrics about drinking and staying out all night. There was one band, maybe seen as the least likely to achieve success at the time, who steamrolled the US charts, taking Glam Metal from the underground, into the cassette decks of every fast car in America. The name of that band was Quiet Riot, and their guitarist Carlos Cavazo didn't just rock your Daddy's guitar, he rocked a black Washburn A-10, in the same shape as this rad Red Washburn A-15V that we are very pleased to have for sale at the moment. Ask yourself, do you wanna be like everybody else? Do you wanna rock? Do you want to do it in style? So, to the guitar. Set neck, 3 single coil Strat style pickups, 5 way switch, tremolo, Frets are around 75%, but still totally playable at the moment. The strap button looks like it was moved at some stage, the put back to where it was originally, so the is a tiny hole on the back. It comes with the original brown Washburn case too. Made in Japan #810129.
