About Echo Tone Guitars

Echo Tone Guitars is an independent guitar store in Northcote, Melbourne. For over a decade, we've specialised in buying, selling and trading vintage, second-hand and collectible guitars, basses and amplifiers.

Our showroom houses one of Australia's largest and most varied selections of used and vintage instruments, spanning everything from affordable Japanese curiosities and obscure catalogue guitars to rare and historically significant pieces from Fender, Gibson, Martin, Gretsch and Rickenbacker.

With hundreds of instruments in stock and new arrivals appearing almost daily, our selection is constantly changing. We source guitars from across Australia and overseas, catering to everyone from working musicians to serious collectors.

Alongside our second-hand inventory, we're authorised dealers for Martin and Fender, with a carefully selected range of new instruments.

Our premises also houses an established guitar repair workshop, with over 40 years of combined luthiery experience, specialising in everything from routine servicing to vintage restoration.

We buy, sell, trade and consign instruments, and welcome customers from across Australia and beyond.
