Echo Tone offers a number of shipping options Australia-wide.
 All parcels below 3kg (most pedals, strings and accessories) will be shipped via Australia Post. 

Larger items including guitars and amplification will be shipped using our courier service providers. Deliveries to most major capital cities are usually fulfilled within 2-4 business days, shipments to regional areas and WA are typically delivered within 8 business days. All delivery times are estimates only.

Guitars carried via courier incur a $95 shipping fee and typically have up to $1499 of insurance cover, extra insurance can be purchased by the buyer for goods that require a greater level of insurance cover.

We cannot be held responsible for any delays that are outside of our control. Most deliveries of items that we have in stock occur within 7 days with most East Coast capital city deliveries taking 2-3 days.

Special Orders, Custom Orders and non-stock items that are ordered have an estimated delivery date. We will not be held responsible if these dates are not met by our suppliers, and a failure to deliver goods by a particular date will not be accepted as a reason for an order cancellation unless agreed to by Echo Tone Guitars.

For international shipping, please note that that any additional customs duties, import taxes or any other expenses which may arise as a result of an international transaction, are not included in the shipping cost and are the responsibility of the buyer. We suggest you contact your local customs office to establish if any duties or taxes will be payable on your purchase.


As per Australian consumer law, you are entitled to a refund OR repair OR exchange OR credit at the discretion of Echo Tone Music Pty Ltd if new products you’ve bought are:

- Faulty, or;
- Significantly different to those shown or described to you

When you buy, please choose carefully. You are not entitled to a refund for a change of mind. We cannot accept returns on consignment items.

If you have a item that you are wanting to return you may request a return by emailing us at or calling us on (03) 9939 0752.

Requesting a return does not automatically mean that we will accept the return. We need to assess the situation and then we will respond with the course of action to be taken.

Accepted returns will attract a 15% restocking fee if there is no fault with the product.

Requests for returns will only be accepted within 7 days of you receiving the goods unless you have a warranty claim.

No returns will be accepted unless we are contacted first. You will be responsible for return shipping costs. Credits and Refunds are limited to the cost of the goods excluding freight charges.

Please note - second hand and vintage items are sold ‘as-is’ however will be covered by a 7-day in-store warranty. Returns cannot be accepted for second hand items beyond 7 days under any circumstances - this includes faults that may arise beyond the 7 day ‘good-will’ period.
