New items:
Orders over $200: Free shipping Australia-wide via AusPost / standard courier. Express shipping available from $20.50**
Orders under $200: $13.50 flat rate shipping Australia-wide via AusPost / standard courier. Express shipping available from $20.50**
Second Hand & Vintage:
Flat rate shipping Australia-wide at the following tiers
- Effects & Small Items: $13.50 (Standard Post)* / $20.50 (Express Post)**
- Instruments (Guitars, Basses, etc.): $69 (Standard Courier)*
- Larger items & Amplifiers: $99 (Standard Courier)*
* Above rates are applicable to the vast majority of Australian addresses (our courier network covers 95% of addresses) however some rural and remote addresses may require additional shipping charges above our stated flat rate. We'll contact you urgently if this is the case.
* AMPS: While most amplifiers (both new and second hand) fall within the range of the above shipping charges, exceptionally large, heavy and/or bulky items will require additional shipping fees. Please keep this in mind when shopping for amps online!
**Please note, express shipping options are only applicable to items which can be sent via the Australia Post Express Parcel Network. These items are typically pedals, accessories, some small amplifiers & some small instruments. Should an order be made with an express option selected which falls outside of these parameters, the cost incurred shall be refunded to the customer upon packing of the order.
We pride ourselves on getting your order out ASAP (typically packed and booked within an hour or two during trading times!) However, we cannot be held responsible for delays once the item has been despatched via a courier service.. Once despatched, most deliveries of in-stock items occur within 7 days — most East Coast CBD-area deliveries within around 2-3 days of despatch. Please note, public holidays, long weekends, industrial actions, lockdowns / COVID restrictions or other events can influence these estimates.
Special Orders, Custom Orders, and non-stock items that are backordered will have an estimated delivery date. Echo Tone cannot not be held responsible if such estimates are not met by our suppliers, and a failure to deliver goods by a particular date will not be accepted as a reason for an order cancellation unless otherwise agreed by Echo Tone Guitars. Payments made against Pre-Orders may be refunded as store credit should needs change.
International customers please note: any additional customs duties, import taxes or other expenses which may arise as a result of an international transaction are not included in the shipping cost and are the responsibility of the buyer. We suggest you contact your local customs office to establish if any duties or taxes will be payable on your purchase.
Returns
New Products: As per Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund OR repair OR exchange OR credit at the discretion of Echo Tone Music Pty Ltd if new products you’ve bought are:
- Faulty, or;
- Significantly different to those shown or described to you.
You are not entitled to a refund for a change of mind. When you buy, please choose carefully.
Note: Manufacturers may change specifications or features of new products without warning. While we do our best to maintain the accuracy of our listings. Some errors and omissions may still be present. If in doubt, please ask us for more more details. If you notice errors with any of our listings, please e-mail us and let us know!
Consignment Items: Please note we cannot accept returns on consignment items.
Non-consignment Second hand and vintage items are sold ‘as-is’, but are covered by a 7-day in-store warranty provided by Echo Tone. Returns cannot be accepted for second hand items beyond 7 days under any circumstances - this includes faults that may arise beyond the 7 day ‘good-will’ period.
NOTE: Requesting a return does not automatically guarantee we will accept the return. We need to assess the situation and then we will respond with the course of action to be taken.
No returns will be accepted unless we are contacted first. If accepted, you will be responsible for any return shipping costs. Credits and Refunds are limited to the value of the returned items only and exclude any freight charges.
A 20% restocking fee applies to accepted returns if there is no fault with the product. Requests for returns will only be accepted within 7 days from receipt of goods (i.e. in-person sale or date of delivery by courier) unless you have a warranty claim.
