Shipping
Do you offer international shipping?
Sure! We send countless instruments both internationally and across Australia every day! International is no problem — We currently have flat-rate, fully insured shipping to most countries around the globe.
Please note that that any additional customs duties, import taxes or any other expenses which may arise as a result of an international transaction, are not included in the shipping cost and are the responsibility of the buyer. We suggest you contact your local customs office to establish if any duties or taxes will be payable on your purchase.
How long will it take to get my order?
Good question! Typically it depends on where you are. Orders processed here are usually dispatched from our shop within 1 business day. Within Australia, you can usually expect an order to take between 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. However these can change depending on a variety of factors and can only be used as a guide only.

What shipping carriers do you use?
We use a selection of major carriers, and local courier partners. Rest assured, all items dispatched by us are insured and will arrive safe and speedily! More info on shipping can be found here.

Are all the instruments you have in-store browsable online?
Absolutely! We've got a fully stocked web store that we update daily with new products that you can see here. Newly arrived stuff is added all the time, so check back often!
So, are all your items second-hand?
Nope! We offer a mix of vintage, second hand and select new items. We've got lots of gear for students and beginners all the way through to the professional musicians and the vintage gear enthusiast.
What new brands do you stock?
We're an Authorised Dealer for a forever growing list of exciting brands... Can I place an instrument on hold?
Holds are not possible without a deposit - contact us if you want to put some money down to stop an item running out the door! A 10% deposit (refundable as store credit) will hold the item for 48 hours. Otherwise your best bet is to be quick!
I’d really love a (insert dream item here), can you let me know if one comes up?
Absolutely! We’re always in conversation with customers looking to buy and sell; we keep a register of the unique items customers are chasing and thinking about selling so we can help find (or sell) your item. Give us a buzz, email us, or let us know next time you’re in the store and we’ll keep our eyes open.
Buying & Selling
How about flexible payment options?
Very! We're pleased to offer Afterpay, Zip Pay, Zip Money, and PayPal in addition to cash, all major credit/debit cards, as well as bank transfers. For more details visit our Payment Options page.
Can I put something you are selling on Lay-by?
We offer a 2 month lay-by on all our new items, and we require a 20% non-refundable deposit to kick off the process. For more details visit our Payment Options page.
Lay-By on vintage & second hand can be arranged but is on a case by case basis with a maximum 1 month term.
Do you provide a warranty?
All our second-hand, used, and vintage items have a 7-day warranty. As they’re second-hand, they may be subject to some wear and tear so we always do our best to describe the condition accurately.
Our new items are subject to the manufacturers warranty, in Australia is legally a minimum of 1 year, however lots of manufacturers even longer warranty periods, sometimes even 3 or 5 years! Be sure to check the specifics regarding the specific item or items you are looking at purchasing.
Can I return my product?
We always aim for make sure our customers love our products, but if you do need to return an order, we’re happy to help. Just give us a call or email us directly and we’ll take you through the process. More information around returns and exchanges can be found here.

Where is the shop located?
We're a traditional brick and mortar store — Come visit us in our Melbourne showroom!
19 Arthurton Road, Northcote (Cnr Arthurton Rd and Helen St)

When are you open?
We’re open 7 days a week! Wow! Our regular trading hours are:
10am — 6pm Monday to Friday
Saturday & Sunday — 11am - 5pm
I hear you guys have in-store gigs, is that true? How do I find out about them?
Sure is! It’s one of the things we get really excited about! We do them periodically on Sunday afternoons. The best thing to do is follow us on Facebook and Instagram, we'll always post any news about upcoming in-stores there.
*NOTE* — We're holding off from in-store performances at the moment, but we're hoping to resume them again in the future!

Probably! We offer comprehensive instrument servicing at great prices done in-house by our talented techs! You can drop in any time for a chat, or give us a call / send us and email and we can help get your gear going again.
