Kentucky KM-700 Artist F-Style Mandolin

SOLD!

Description

A truly premium mandolin with all solid woods, the Kentucky KM-700 has the chop and volume to keep up at any bluegrass jam whilst totally looking the part.

Starting with a solid carved spruce top, solid maple back and sides, and a rosewood fingerboard this mandolin has all of the classic F5 appointments (including double ivoroid binding on the body and engraved tailpiece cover - classy!), and is nicely finished in a vintage sunburst (similar to the feted Cremona Burst of the 1920s) with a nitro-cellulose finish.

Tonally, the KM-700 has all of the complexity and overtones you would expect from a premium mandolin, the chop has plenty of volume and body and single notes ring out all the way up the neck. The mandolin intonates perfectly, and has a full and woody tone. Live out all of your latent Bill Monroe/Ricky Skaggs fantasies in style with the KM-700!
