Black on black maple neck Mustang Bass. Classic vintage short scale bass used by everyone from the Talking Heads through to the Go-Betweens. Split single coil pickup with a very distinctive midrange. Pots date to 1977. All original save for grounding plate to bridge (reversable modification). Finish on body and steel parts have been hit with steel wool at some stage giving the instrument a flatter finish than the high gloss and chrome you'd expect from factory. Priced accordingly. Includes original pasteboard case. Made in USA, serial number S708633.
