Description
The Gretsch Jet Firebird is certainly one of the most striking of the solid bodies in their lineup of many fine guitar. In this instance the combination of the red finish and gold hardware along with the horseshoe headstock inlay, alamo fret markers: just flippin awesome. This one is from the mid 90's.. 1996 infact an absolutely cracking period for Gretsch guitars pre the Fender takeover. Loaded with a pair of classic Filtertrons it sounds mean, looks mean. The neck is sllim and fast and comfy with plenty of fretlife. The overall guitar is leightweight and ready to flippin rock..heck bust a few windmills. As expected there are some battle scars across the instrument given its age. Its an absolute cracker! Comes with the original case. 1996 Gretsch G6131 Jet Firebird Made in Japan serial 9610131-380
