Description

Pops like candy, flies like a butterfly, stings like a bee. Very cool Supro Belmont Resoglass from the early sixties in a lovely Red. Many of these old Supro's were built with fiberglass bodies (they called it Res-O-Glass) just like the now-famous Airline's, but they have a more conventional shape.  They still have a subtle Art Deco inspired vibe, but not as outlandishly retro-futuristic as the Map Series guitars. Rockin’ 6 string semi hollow body featuring Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, plays well with a low action. There is no adjustable truss rod. A new nut has been installed. Teardrop pickguard, and tremolo. Has some small cracks in the lower left bout on the bass side but in no way does this effect the playability. Mojo for days, everything you'd expect from a vintage instrument. Made in the USA. serial G12421
