These 60s european Baldwin’s were made when they acquired Gretsch, and adopted many of their characteristics, including the filtertron style pickups, zero fret, van ghent tuners, etc.

Production started in the second half of 1967 and export to the U.S. began at the beginning of 1968.  The 700 Series was Baldwin’s best seller. These 60s euro Baldwin’s were made when they acquired Gretsch, and adopted many similar characteristics, including filtertron style pickups, zero fret, and van ghent tuners.

This is a great sounding gat, the pickups are bright and spanky, the neck is slim and fast. Original frets are still intact and the tree is nice n mushy. Its a cool guitar.

Made in Italy. Comes with a hardcase.
