c1960s Eko 500/V4 Blue Metallic, Mother of Pearl. Made in Italy circa 1961 - 1965
During the 1960s not only was America, UK and Japan at the forefront of guitar design there were even some European manufacturers that took their hand at making some unique and indiosyncratic designs with a twist.
This is one such guitar. Mother of Bowling Ball abound.
The best way that I can describe the sound of this guitar is, 'The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly' and it's feasible to think that whilst recording the score for that film, one of these Italian made Eko's may indeed have been used.
They are hard to find in useable condition these guitars..but the one we have here is working and playing great, in very good condition indeed.
