Description
Lovely early 1965 '64' spec ES-175. Desirable 1 11/16th nut width. Transitional model featuring a nickel tailpiece and tuners with a flawless, untouched pair of chrome covered 'Patent Sticker' humbuckers (neck measuring 7k, bridge 7.4k). The original sunburst finish retains plenty of lusture. Some lovely yellowing to the binding. Original 'double line, double ring' Kluson tuners. Original frets retain plenty of life - particularly if you're a jazzer! Truss rod functions perfectly with adjustment a-ok. Lightweight and resonant at 3.15kg. Oval label as been lost to the ravages of time, factory order number S6486 34. Original black tolex, pink lined hardcase. A super straight show stopping vintage ES-175 for around the price of a Tom Murphy Gibson Custom Shop. Snap this stunner up before the market adjusts!
