We've had an amazing run of 70's Fender basses in the last month, but this might just take the cake!
Super clean and ultra-light (4.0kg) this bass is a great example of an early '70s P Bass.
This instrument has spent most of its life in a heavy-duty road case, and has been extremely well looked after. It is rare to see a touring instrument of this age in this sort of nick.
The bass came from the collection of well-respected Australian tour manager Bill Rowe, and was originally owned and played by Shadows bass player Mark Griffiths. Inside the flightcase is an old guitar tuner with Mark's name on it, this is included with the sale.
I'm sure 'Apache' has been played on this bass more than a few times..but now it's time for someone to make their own history with this beautiful bass.
