Description
Oh my good Lord.
Stunning Gretsch Synchromatic made in the USA around 1952.
This one has a headstock with a neat factory overlay that I haven't been able to find on any other Synchromatic..dang does it look cool. Remember, it was 1952 and anything is possible!
Ok, so, the lowdown. Replacement bridge, replacement tuners (originals in case)..has had a pickup on the top at some point and 4 small holes remain (small, very small). Original pickguard is in the case too.
Frets have been replaced at some point.
Action is sitting around medium, currently strung up with Phosphor Bronze strings.
Hows it sound, like a beautiful story whispered in your ear, which is not to say the guitar doesn't have any volume, I just mean, it's an absolute joy to listen to. It's a joy to play too.
