Excellent condition Hofner Senator.
Looks like a refinish, as it is so clean, but I don't think it is.
Pickup looks to have been added..but the control plate and pickup are Hofner..
Pickguard is a replacement.
Couple of holes near the top of the fingerboard on the sides, where some other pickup had been installed at some point.
This is the 'Senator', cool, powerful and full of tone.
Neck set is good, no cracks or breaks...Jazz, Rock and Roll, Polka, what can't it do??
Made in Germany, West that is..a slim 15 years after the second world war!
