Description
Beat up but by no means licked '65 Jazzmaster.
Signed (probably in the late 90s) by..Bob Bogle, Don Wilson, Gerry McGee and Leon Taylor...The Ventures.
Probably one of the bands responsible for the fact the Jazzmaster exists at all.
It is all original under the hood.. but the knobs have been replaced, and the guitar has, of course been refretted.
There is a tiny rout in the neck pickup on either side of the pickup...possibly a 'bucker was in there at some stage..It is very very small.
The signatures are under tape, so to remove the tape will leave some 'sticker tan'.
It would be a shame to refinish..and it would be a shame to scrub off the paw prints of 2 founding members of the Ventures, and 2 later members, 3 of which are no longer with us.
We will leave any and all aesthetic decisions to the new owner.
Point is, this is a lovely transition era Jazzmaster, and a hell of a player.
Comes with a hardshell case.
