Description
Beat up but by no means licked '65 Jazzmaster.
Was signed (probably in the late 90s) by..Bob Bogle, Don Wilson, Gerry McGee and Leon Taylor...The Ventures.
Probably one of the bands responsible for the fact the Jazzmaster exists at all.
The signatures are faint now and the one on the pickguard has been scrubbed
It is all original under the hood.. but the knobs have been replaced, and the guitar has, of course been refretted.
There is a tiny rout in the neck pickup on either side of the pickup...possibly a 'bucker was in there at some stage..It is very very small. Wear on the back of the body but a super lightweight and very good Jazzmaster built smack in the middle of the 60s.
Don't tell 'em I said this, but it could be a great candidate for a body refin..BUT of course, we will leave any and all aesthetic decisions to the new owner. Rock it the way it is, or choose your poison.
Point is, this it is a lovely transition era Jazzmaster, and a hell of a player.
Comes with a hardshell case.
