Description
Originally a black panel export-model Showman head, this one’s been neatly rehoused in a July 1960 brownface Pro Amp enclosure—bringing a bit of that early-'60s mojo into the mix. It’s an 85-watt two-channel beast with loads of clean headroom and that unmistakable Fender tube vibrato.
Tonally, it leans dark—but in the best kind of way. Whether you're pushing single coils or humbuckers, it stays bold, warm, and mighty. Recently serviced and fitted with a 15" Eminence Red Coat “Big Ben” speaker, this thing kicks with authority.
The original mains transformer has been replaced with a Hammond unit for 240V operation. Serial A04501. Made in the USA.
