Description
Late 1970s Fujigen-built Greco from the brief EG-700WW run, produced only around 1978–79.
Mahogany body with maple top, maple neck, and striped ebony fingerboard with fret binding. Fitted with the original PU-04 humbuckers in the neck and bridge, which are a part of why these are sought after... that and the nicely yellowed white finish!
This example shows light, honest playwear throughout. Small marks and scratches consistent with age, nothing structural or concerning. Neck is straight, frets are in good shape, and all hardware and electronics are working as they should. Original protective film is still present on the rear control and toggle cavity covers.
Pickup surrounds have been replaced and the pickguard is missing. Otherwise a clean, well-kept example of a model you don’t see often.
A scarce late-70s Greco that sits right in the sweet spot of Japanese Les Paul-style production from this era. Serial number: F795153 Weight: 4.25kg
