The mid 80s were a weird transitional patch and the saddles on this one point straight to later 80s production. It’s a USA Standard in the truest sense of the era. Solid build, no vintage reissue pretence, just a straightforward Strat that does the job well. TBX tone control onboard too.
Sunburst finish with honest wear, a dark board, and the feel you expect from a well used player. It needs a fret dress and there is some humping in the neck. A proper refret would take it to the next level, and the price reflects that.
