Desirable first-year Classic with the ink-stamped serial and all the good late-80s carryover traits. Only year with the 'Les Paul Model' silkscreen. Thin, fast neck that feels quick in the hand. Plain-top burst with a tidy, vintage-leaning carve. Fitted with a set of nice-sounding Seymour Duncans, a Custom 5 in the bridge and an Alnico II Pro in the neck. Bone nut, freshly set up, and ready to throw down. Feels worn in not worn out.
It has had a headstock repair in its life, solid and stable. A truly great Les Paul with 35 years under its belt.
