2000 Gibson SG Special Faded in worn cherry. USA made.
Properly played in with heaps of finish wear across the body, edges and neck.
Nothing museum about it, just a light, loud SG that feels alive the second you pick it up. Satin has rubbed down in all the right spots and the grain shows through nicely.
Heavily worn in feel. Neck is comfy, frets have plenty left, and the pickups have that raw mid bite these early Faded models are known for.
Hardware has dulled in a way that suits the guitar and there are no surprises in the electronics.
A straightforward, well used SG at a great weight at 2.8kg.
