Description
Sure fine looking '64 American Vintage Reissue from 2012.
No longer made, and for all intents and porpoises, the specs you want!
Light nitro finish, and as you can see from this one, looks great with a bit of wear.
Everything is working as it should...frets have plenty of life left..chips and wear on the body.
Here is the lowdown from Fender, that came out at the time:
"For the guitarist who craves pure vintage Fender style, the American Vintage series presents original-era model year guitars built with meticulous attention to accurate detail that bring Fender history and heritage to authentic and exciting new life. 1964 was a big year for popular music and for the Telecaster, which saw notable design changes that year. It had by then become an indispensable guitar for stage and studio alike, a requisite tool for working guitarists at all levels. Built using original tooling and based on actual 1964 models we tracked down, the U.S.-made American Vintage '64 Telecaster expertly evokes that year's model with authentic sound, style and feel"
Made in the USA, comes with the original hardshell case, strap, lead, bridge cover, cloth and a Gideons Bible (ah, actually, apologies.....Gideons Bible is out of stock)
