1967 Vox Conqueror Head & Cabinet (England)

SOLD!

Description

A rare and beautifully preserved piece of Vox history—the MK1 Conqueror, complete with its original head, cab, chrome stand and slip covers. Produced by Jennings Musical Industries in England, this is the 223rd unit made, placing it right at the dawn of 1967.

Best known for its use on The Beatles’ Revolution sessions, the Conqueror’s solid-state circuitry delivers a fuzzed-out distortion that nails that era-defining tone. Features include Top Boost, Reverb, Distortion, and a quirky but charming 'Effects' switch reminiscent of a wah or Gretsch-style mud toggle. Rated at around 40 watts.

This unit has undergone a full service by Tim at the Tone Lab—Lemco caps replaced, tremolo channel repaired, and speaker cab wiring sorted. No valves in sight, and frankly, none needed—this thing sounds unreal.

Collector grade condition and nearly impossible to find complete.
