Candy Apple early 90s Fender ST57. Made in Japan. Classic look, subtle V neck that feels right in the hand, and a lively set of pickups. This one has been played. One knob has aged darker than the others, the back plate is long gone, and the rear has its share of wear. All part of the story.
Frets are healthy, the neck is comfortable, the 5 way is working fine, and the tuners have the expected tarnish of an older MIJ piece. At this point it has stepped over from second hand into actual vintage. Red, shiny, a bit cheeky, and very fun.
