Description
1932 W series National Triolian with the Marine symbol and 2 dragons, with factory special order USMC written on the inside of the body. Like many of these, it has had the fingerboard replaced, and the neck refinished at the same time. Period correct vintage c30s machineheads ala a Tricone, new decal on the headstock. Serial number is intact at the top of the headstock. A couple of dings in the body, but this thing is made of steel, and should last another near on 100 years. Our head guitar tech Rick owns a National from the same period with a similar engraving style, though his has guns on it! Very special instrument, that sounds as good as it looks, and is truly a really nice piece of American guitar building history. Made in the USA and comes with a hard shell case. SN 17821.
