A Gretsch from the heart of the rock and roll time period, and made in New York City.
The previous owner had this thing singing under his stewardship, and it has had some necessary touches to make it bulletproof.
The guitar has seen a recent refret and a neck reset..The jack plate has been enlarged to cover a small hole that probably happened when the jack went sideways at some point. Bridge has been replaced with a c1965 Gibson and it's now sporting a vintage Bigsby rather than the G tailpiece. Wiring loom has been replaced, pickup spacers have been replaced (original spacers are in the case).
Finish checking all over the body. Some patches of paint missing on the back of the headstock and back of the neck.
Resonant as all hell, and it sounds a hell of a lot like a 1950s guitar, because it is, a 1950s guitar..
