Description
Lovely golden era Gibson ES-175. Beautifully played in with a considerable amount of genuine patina. An absolutely perfect player. Freshly re-fretted and feeling fabulous. Wonderfully resonant. Slim 60's neck profile that feels a treat on this thing. No breaks or repairs. Yes, this one has seen the classic partsing that many-a-175 have seen over the years. Full USA re-loom with Lollar Imperial low-wind humbuckers, CTS pots, Switchcraft 3-way switch and orange drop capacitors. Double ring Kluson machine heads are older reproductions but look the part.
Anyway, these things shouldn't scare you. This is one of the best playing ES-175's we've had in the shop. A genuine vintage piece for the price of an incomprehensibly inferior modern Tom Murphy Custom Shop guitar. Don't believe me? Very much a a 'shuddup and player yer guitar' type instrument. Come give it a thwack, you will not be disappointed.
If you do want a set of genuine P.A.F's re-installed in this old thing, we have a set available - add $10,000 to the price. Dare I say, once you get acquainted with this instrument, you wouldn't bother.
Made in USA. Includes a later 1960s purple-lined Gibson case. Serial number 48902.
