Theres just something about this period of Fender amplifiers. This is a beautiful example from the early 1960s, the Fender Deluxe brown panel combo. There is certainly a pleasurable aural quality and a particular "darkness", tonality and honk to the amplifiers of this period. This amp has been meticulously serviced and racapped (the original housings intact and reused, yes you read that correctly) with the utmost attention to detail by Warwicke Newman at Tone Revival Audio. The original speaker has been replaced with an 8oHm JBL K120 speaker.
