Description
Absolutely gorgeous example of Aria Pro II’s golden-era take on the Gibson ES-175, built in Japan and signed off by jazz legend Herb Ellis himself. Full laminate maple construction with an ebony fingerboard, dual humbuckers, and ornate trapeze tailpiece. Big, articulate voice with just the right amount of bite; easily one of the best vintage jazzboxes in this price range.
This one’s in excellent condition for its age, with light tarnishing to the gold hardware and the usual missing "Volume" and "Tone" caps from the knobs. No major marks, no breaks, and clearly not played to death over the last 40+ years. The original case features a guitar shop sticker from Brisbane, suggesting this Herb’s been an Aussie local for a long time.
Made in Japan. Includes original hardshell case.
