Description

Ah, The Paul.

A real product of the 1970s when wood finishes were all the rage, communing with nature and just being at one with stuff, ya dig. People rag on the Norlin era, and yeah, the models in that decade were perhaps not vintage spec correct, but imagine the '70s without the T Top, Tarback, 3 piece neck and goofy (but cool as hell) headstocks. Which brings back to this guitar. A stripped back Les Paul, nothing between you and the tone.

Two nasty sounding T Top pickups that will get you everywhere from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Molly Hatchet and back again. Plug straight into a Peavey Mace, slug some whiskey and cuss, then hit a D chord and you are 3 steps closer to God. This model has an Ebony fingerboard, which feels great under your fingers when you play Free Bird (or any kind of music really)

I know your next question, 'is it heavy?' - well, it's heavy duty sounding, but it's not going to kill your back like most LP's from '79.

In great condition for its age and has been well kept over the years. Plenty more life left in it!

Includes the original 'Chainsaw' Gibson hardcase. Made in USA Serial number 70439604. BYO Bourbon and copy of Street Survivors.
