Description

My first Les Paul was a '79 Gibson Goldtop Deluxe, so yeah, I'm pretty partial to these guitars.

Sadly, I lost mine in a high stakes poker game, and it is fair to say that I haven't been the same since.

What we have here is a 1980 bone stock Les Paul Deluxe in the only finish that matters, Goldtop.

Set up beautifully and top wrapped (it's hard to beat).

Aside from a little wear on the back, and a little crack in the pickguard, this thing is as fresh as a daisy and still running the original frets!

Pickups date to May and June 1980, Pots date to 1979.

Cool non pancake, and maple neck guitar, a lovely piece of Gibson history, and I'd pit this thing against any new Gibbo you'd care to throw my way, Custom Shop or whatever.

Comes with the original Chainsaw case, (Gibson badge is missing)

Before I leave, lets chat about Mini Humbuckers. Characterful, versatile, sometimes overlooked, but shouldn't be.

Pete Townshend reduced the number of Les Paul Deluxe's in the world, so best strike while the iron is hot...coz this guitar, is the f******g business.

Made in the USA.
