Proper MIJ LP alternative with edge. This is the SG500, the entry point into Yamaha’s SG range, but it doesn’t feel like a budget model. Mahogany body, set neck, big block inlays, and a gloss red finish.
Frets are clean with plenty of life, hardware’s all original, no mods or breaks. It’s got that fast, snappy feel and the tones to match. Some wear on the back but nothing that gets in the way. Built to be played, not polished.
