Description

An absolutely loaded example from the peak of Ibanez's golden era. The AR500 was the top-tier offering from the Artist line in the early '80s—built at FujiGen and designed to out-spec just about everything else on the market at the time.

Featuring a carved flame maple top over a mahogany body, bound ebony board with ornate abalone block inlays, Super 58 pickups, and a full active EQ system with tri-sound switches for each pickup. The result is huge tonal flexibility—from fat, vintage neck tones to crisp, hi-fi cuts and scooped funk. Brass tailpiece and sustain block, Ibanez tuners, gold hardware throughout.

In excellent condition for its age, with only light honest wear. A proper player’s guitar with serious collector cred.
