1985! This guitar was made the same year Huey Lewis and the News released The Power Of Love.
As a 40 year old instrument that has been played, this one sees plenty of aesthetic wear and tear, the finish has also faded gorgeously giving the guitar a really unique colouration. There is significant tanning underneath the pickguard, at the butt of the neck, under the control plate etc.
The guitar is very original, features factory USA pickups and CTS pots (dating to 1984). This one lightweight for a rosewood Telecaster, and would really fit in with any bug related music you wish to play. Frets still have heaps of life left in them, Neck is straight and the rod works just as it should.
A very collectable tele from a highly desired period of Japanese Fender production.
